We’ve made exploring Southern Utah easy! Your GoKamp adventure comes with a fully equipped Ford Ranger Raptor, premium camping gear, and everything you need to hit the road with confidence. Here’s a quick look at what to expect.
🚙 Included Mileage
Rental Rates & Daily Billing
GoKamp Adventures rentals are charged by calendar day, not by the number of nights.
For example, a rental beginning Monday and ending Friday is considered a five-day rental, even though you’re camping for only four nights.
Included Mileage
Every GoKamp rental includes 200 miles per rental day, giving you plenty of freedom to explore Southern Utah and the surrounding permitted areas.
Your included mileage is calculated across your entire reservation, so you can drive more on one day and less on another.
For example, a five-day rental includes 1,000 total miles.
Additional Mileage
If your adventure takes you beyond your included mileage, additional miles are charged at $0.50 per mile.
Mileage is calculated at the end of your rental based on the vehicle’s recorded mileage.
Unlimited Mileage Option
Planning an extended road trip? We’ve got you covered!
Upgrade to unlimited mileage for just $25 per rental day.
The unlimited mileage option must be selected before pickup and applies to the entire reservation.
For example, unlimited mileage on a five-day rental costs $125 total.
This option is perfect for guests planning to explore multiple destinations throughout Southern Utah, Northern Arizona, and Southern Nevada.
🏕️ Camping Equipment
Every GoKamp Adventures rental includes premium camping equipment designed to make exploring the Southwest comfortable and convenient.
Our Ford Ranger Raptor Overland Edition is equipped with an iKamper Skycamp Mini 3.0 rooftop tent, which comfortably accommodates two adults.
Included equipment features:
- Bedding – fitted sheet, comforter, and pillows (one per person)
- Chairs (one per person)
- Blackstone® 17” Griddle with propane
- Pot and pan set
- Disposable Dinnerware
- Cooking utensil set
- Campfire roasting forks
- Camp Table/ sink with dish soap, sponge, scrub brush, and dish towel
- Paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage and storage bags
- Cooking spray, salt and pepper set, can opener, lighter
- Indoor/Outdoor lantern
- First aid kit
- Fire extinguisher
Optional equipment and accessories may be available during the booking process.
🚙 Pickup & Return Procedures
Your GoKamp adventure begins the moment you arrive! We’ll make sure you’re comfortable with the Ranger Raptor and all its camping equipment before you hit the road.
Pickup Location
GoKamp Adventures rentals are picked up in the St. George, Utah area.
Your exact pickup location, scheduled time, and arrival instructions will be provided before your rental begins.
Need a ride? Local taxi and rideshare services are available in the St. George area to help you reach our pickup location.
Vehicle Orientation
Before departure, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know about your rental, including:
- Ranger Raptor vehicle features and operation.
- iKamper rooftop tent setup and takedown.
- Camping equipment inventory and proper use.
- Vehicle safety guidelines and travel restrictions.
- Emergency contacts and roadside assistance procedures.
We want you to feel confident and ready for your adventure!
Pickup Inspection
Before leaving, we’ll complete a vehicle and equipment inspection to document their condition.
Guests should review the inspection and report any existing damage or missing equipment before departure.
Returning Your Rental
Please return the Ranger Raptor to the designated GoKamp pickup and return location at your scheduled return time.
Before returning:
- Refuel the vehicle to its original fuel level.
- Remove personal belongings and trash.
- Clean and properly pack camping equipment.
- Secure the rooftop tent.
- Return all provided equipment and accessories.
A return inspection will be completed to identify any damage, missing equipment, or additional charges.
Late Returns & Extensions

Contact GoKamp before your scheduled return time to request an extension.
Extensions are subject to availability and must be approved in advance. Additional rental charges or late fees may apply under your rental agreement.
👤 Driver Requirements
We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable GoKamp adventure! All drivers must meet our rental eligibility requirements before getting behind the wheel.
Minimum Driver Age
All drivers must be at least 25 years old at the time of rental.
Driver’s License
Every driver must have a valid, government-issued driver’s license and complete the required verification process before vehicle pickup.
Additional Drivers
Additional drivers are welcome! However, every driver must be approved by GoKamp before operating the vehicle.
All additional drivers must meet the same age, licensing, and applicable insurance requirements as the primary renter.
Authorized Drivers Only
Only drivers listed and approved under the rental agreement may operate the Ranger Raptor.
Allowing an unauthorized person to drive may violate your rental agreement and affect applicable protection coverage.
🏜️ Permitted Travel & Vehicle Use
GoKamp Adventures vehicles are designed for exploring the incredible landscapes of Southern Utah, Northern Arizona, and Southern Nevada.
Travel is permitted on paved highways, maintained public roads, and designated Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and county roads appropriate for the vehicle.
Travel outside Southern Utah, Northern Arizona, and Southern Nevada requires prior written approval from GoKamp Adventures
Prohibited Activities
To protect you and the vehicle, the following activities are not permitted:
- Rock crawling or technical four-wheel-drive trails.
- Driving off designated roads or creating new trails.
- Driving through deep water or attempting water crossings.
- Racing, jumping, or other high-risk driving activities
🛟 Accidents & Roadside Assistance
Adventure comes with the unexpected! While we hope every GoKamp trip goes smoothly, we want you to know exactly what to do if you experience an accident, breakdown, or other roadside emergency.
Accidents & Vehicle Damage
If you’re involved in an accident or the Ranger Raptor is damaged:
- Prioritize safety. Move to a safe location if possible and call 911 if anyone is injured or immediate assistance is needed.
- Contact GoKamp as soon as possible to report the incident.
- Document the incident with photographs and collect relevant information from anyone involved.
- Follow the accident reporting procedures outlined in your rental agreement and applicable protection plan.
Do not continue driving if the vehicle is unsafe to operate.
Mechanical Breakdowns
If you experience a mechanical issue:
- Safely pull over and stop the vehicle.
- Contact GoKamp for assistance and instructions.
- Do not attempt major repairs or authorize repair work without prior approval, except when immediate action is necessary for safety.
We’ll help coordinate the appropriate next steps.
Flat Tires & Vehicle Recovery
If you experience a flat tire or become stuck:
- Move to a safe location if possible.
- Contact GoKamp before arranging towing or recovery services.
- Avoid attempting dangerous vehicle recovery procedures.
Towing, recovery, and tire-related expenses may be the renter’s responsibility, depending on the circumstances and applicable rental or protection terms.
Remote Travel & Cell Service
Some of Southern Utah’s most beautiful destinations have limited or no cellular coverage.
Before departing:
- Download offline maps of your planned route.
- Check weather forecasts and road conditions.
- Carry adequate drinking water and essential supplies.
- Let someone know your travel plans and expected return time.
Never attempt a technical trail or unsafe route simply because the Ranger Raptor is capable of handling challenging terrain.
Emergency Assistance
For emergencies involving immediate danger or injury, call 911.
For vehicle issues, accidents, or rental-related assistance, contact GoKamp using the contact information provided with your reservation.
If you are outside cellular coverage, prioritize your safety and seek assistance when it is safe to do so
🛡️ Insurance & Rental Protection
Your peace of mind matters to us! Every GoKamp Adventures rental is booked through Wheelbase and includes access to its Auto Protection Package.
During the reservation process, you’ll be presented with different protection options so you can choose the level of protection that best fits your adventure.
Choosing Your Protection
Available protection options, pricing, deductibles, and coverage details are displayed during checkout.
We encourage guests to review each option carefully before completing their reservation.
What’s Covered?
Coverage, exclusions, and renter responsibilities vary depending on the protection option selected.
Your selected protection package and the applicable Wheelbase Auto Protection Package terms determine what protection applies during your rental.
Important Things to Know
- Guests are responsible for complying with all rental agreement requirements and travel restrictions.
- Certain activities, vehicle uses, or types of damage may be excluded from protection.
- Renters may remain financially responsible for deductibles, uncovered damages, and other charges under the applicable terms.
- The $1,500 refundable security deposit is separate from the protection package and does not necessarily limit your financial responsibility.

💳 Security Deposits & Payments
Reservation Payments
To secure your GoKamp adventure, a 50% payment is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance is due 14 days before your scheduled pickup date.
Reservations made within 14 days of pickup require full payment at booking.
Security Deposit
A $1,500 refundable security deposit is required for all GoKamp rentals.
The security deposit is typically authorized on your payment method one day before your scheduled pickup.
This authorization is separate from your rental payment and may be used to cover additional charges such as:
- Vehicle or equipment damage.
- Missing or damaged camping equipment.
- Excessive cleaning.
- Additional mileage or other applicable rental charges.
Security Deposit Release
After your rental is returned, GoKamp will inspect the Ranger Raptor and included camping equipment.
If no additional charges apply, the security deposit authorization is normally released within seven days after your return.
Depending on your bank or card issuer, additional processing time may be required before the funds become available.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that travel plans sometimes change! GoKamp Adventures offers the following cancellation terms:
- More than 7 days before pickup: Receive a 75% refund of your reservation.
- Within 7 days of pickup: Receive a 50% refund of your reservation.
Cancellations must be processed through Wheelbase and are subject to the terms associated with your reservation.
We recommend considering travel insurance to help protect against unexpected changes to your plans.
⛽ Fuel, Cleaning & Vehicle Care
A little Southern Utah dust is part of the adventure! We want you to enjoy every mile while helping us keep the Ranger Raptor and camping equipment in great condition for the next adventurer.
Fuel Requirements
Your Ranger Raptor will be provided with a documented fuel level at pickup.
Please return the vehicle with the same fuel level as when you received it.
If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, applicable refueling charges may be assessed according to your rental agreement.
Cleaning Requirements
We expect a little dirt and dust from exploring Southern Utah!
Normal use and reasonable dust accumulation are expected. However, the vehicle should be returned free of excessive mud, trash, stains, and other conditions requiring extensive cleaning.
Excessive cleaning fees start at $250, depending on the condition of the vehicle.
Camping Equipment Care
All camping equipment should be returned clean, properly packed, and in good working condition.
Before returning your rental, please:
- Remove personal belongings and trash.
- Clean cooking equipment and utensils.
- Properly pack and secure the rooftop tent.
- Return all included camping equipment.
Missing, damaged, or excessively dirty equipment may result in additional charges.
Vehicle Condition
We understand that normal wear comes with adventure!
However, renters are responsible for reporting any damage, mechanical concerns, or equipment issues that occur during their rental.
Please notify GoKamp as soon as possible if anything is damaged or stops working.
🚭 Pets, Smoking & Rental Restrictions
We want every GoKamp guest to enjoy a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained adventure vehicle. To help make that possible, we have a few important rental policies.
🐾 Pet Policy
While we love our four-legged friends, pets are not permitted in GoKamp rental vehicles or included camping equipment.
This policy helps us maintain a clean, allergen-conscious environment for all guests.
Unauthorized pets may result in additional cleaning fees or other charges under your rental agreement.
🚭 Smoking & Vaping
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the Ranger Raptor and all provided camping equipment, including the rooftop tent.
This restriction includes cigarettes, cigars, electronic cigarettes, vaping devices, and other smoking products.
Evidence of smoking or vaping may result in additional cleaning or damage charges.
🏕️ Camping & Environmental Responsibility
We encourage guests to enjoy Southern Utah responsibly and help preserve its incredible landscapes.
During your adventure:
- Follow Leave No Trace principles.
- Camp only in legally permitted areas.
- Observe all fire restrictions and burn bans.
- Properly dispose of trash and waste.
- Respect wildlife, vegetation, and protected areas.
Campfires are permitted only where legally authorized and when local fire restrictions allow them.
🚙 Vehicle & Equipment Restrictions
To protect the Ranger Raptor and included camping equipment:
- Do not tow trailers or other vehicles without prior written approval.
- Do not modify or remove installed vehicle accessories.
- Do not overload the vehicle or rooftop tent beyond their rated capacities.
- Do not allow unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle.
- Do not use the vehicle for racing, commercial transportation, or other prohibited activities.
All guests must follow the requirements outlined in their rental agreement.
📍 GPS & Vehicle Monitoring
For vehicle security, recovery, and rental management purposes, GoKamp vehicles may be equipped with GPS tracking and monitoring technology.
Guests must not disable, interfere with, or remove any installed tracking or monitoring equipment.

Rental Agreement
All rentals are subject to the GoKamp Adventures Rental Agreement, including applicable fees, responsibilities, and travel restrictions.
Guests should review and accept the rental terms before beginning their adventure.
